Amitabh Bachchan in Paa:
In the film 'Paa', Amitabh Bachchan portrayed the character of a child suffering from Progeria, a rare genetic disorder that causes rapid ageing in children. To achieve the look of a child with Progeria, Bachchan spent hours in the makeup chair applying specially crafted clay pieces to his face. The transformation was so convincing that it was difficult to recognize Bachchan in the role.
Akshay Kumar in 2.0:
Akshay Kumar underwent a significant transformation for his role in the sci-fi film '2.0'. He played the character of an evil, clawed, and winged crow monster, which required extensive prosthetic makeup and visual effects. Kumar's dedication to the role was evident in his menacing portrayal of the character.
Vicky Kaushal in Udham Singh:
Vicky Kaushal underwent a physical transformation to portray the legendary Indian revolutionary Udham Singh. Kaushal lost 15 kilos in 2 months to play the younger version of Udham Singh and then gained back the weight to portray him in his later years. Deepika Padukone in Chhapaak:
Deepika Padukone's transformation for her role in 'Chhapaak' was remarkable. She portrayed the character of an acid attack survivor, which required extensive prosthetic makeup to simulate the scars and burns on her face. Padukone's portrayal was praised for its realism and sensitivity.
