Chandu Champion
Kartik Aaryan's movie, Chandu Champion, has been getting great reviews and has also been doing very well at the box office. Even though there is no official word on it yet, reports claim that the film will be available to stream on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video towards the end of July or early August this year.
Munjya
Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the film features Abhay Verma, Sharvari Wagh, and Mona Singh in prominent roles. It has garnered a rating of 7.5 on IMDb. The official synopsis describes the plot as follows: "A young man discovers a family secret and encounters a vengeful spirit, Munjya, in his native village, who is determined to find a spouse. Now, he must battle to safeguard himself and his beloved from Munjya's grasp."
Disney+Hotstar has the streaming rights of Munjya, but its OTT release date has not been announced yet. If the reports are to be believed, Munjya will make its digital debut in August, this year.
Kalki 2898 AD
The speculation surrounding the OTT streaming of Kalki 2898 AD has finally been put to rest. The filmmakers have confirmed that the movie, which stars Prabhas and was released on June 27, will be available for streaming on online platforms after a wait of 10 weeks. This means that fans who have been eagerly waiting to watch the film from the comfort of their own homes will be able to do so in September. The science fiction movie, which features an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, among others, has already created a buzz in the theatres and is expected to continue its successful run on the OTT platforms as well.
Manjummel Boys
Manjummel Boys is a 2024 Malayalam survival thriller film directed by Chidambaram, starring an ensemble cast including Soubin Shahir and Sreenath Bhasi. Based on a true 2006 incident, the movie follows friends from Manjummel who embark on a Kodaikanal trip, only to have one of them trapped in the Guna Caves, sparking a thrilling adventure.
Manjummel Boys is currently streaming on Disney+Hotstar.
Amar Singh Chamkila
Amar Singh Chamkila is an Indian biographical drama film that tells the captivating story of the legendary musician Amar Singh Chamkila. Renowned filmmaker Imtiaz Ali has not only directed the film but has also produced it and co-written the script. The movie features the talented Diljit Dosanjh in the titular role, bringing to life the journey and struggles of the iconic musician. Additionally, Parineeti Chopra joins the cast as Amarjot, Chamkila's second wife.
