New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: Singer Arijit Singh received the Best Playback Singer (Male) award for the song Binte Dil of the movie Padmaavat in the 66th National film Awards 2018.

Binte Dil is the song of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's movie Padmaavat and the lyrics are written by  AM Turaz.

Every year national awards are announced for films in various Indian languages. Under this, nominations are made in the categories of Best Film, Best Direction, Best Production, Social Message, Singer, Song and Lyricist. 

This morning, the members of the Feature Film Jury, Non-Feature Film Jury and Best Writing Jury presented their reports to Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar in Delhi.

This year, the announcement was delayed due to the Lok Sabha Election 2019, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said in a press release dated April 24.
