9 New Prime Video Web Series And Movies: October is loaded with suspense, drama, thriller and romantic movies and web series releasing on Amazon Prime Video. Starting with Long Shot to Silver Dollar Road, there are many interesting films and shows to add to your watchlist this week. Here are all the details of what is releasing and when on Prime.
Long Shot - October 16
The official synopsis of Long Show on Amazon Prime Video reads, "When Fred Flarsky reunites with his first crush, one of the most influential women in the world, Charlotte Field, he charms her with his self-deprecating humor and his memories of her youthful idealism. As she prepares to make a run for the Presidency, Charlotte hires Fred as her speechwriter and sparks fly."
Polite Society - October 17
Directed by Nida Manzoor, Polite Society is a British martial arts action comedy about an aspiring stuntwoman who is hellbent on saving her older sister from her upcoming marriage. The film had earlier premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
Permanent Roommates S3 - October 18
Starring Sumeet Vyas and Nidhi Singh, the most loved web series Permanent Roommates is back with season 3. It follows the love life of Mickey and Tanu and their sweet little banter and struggles to keep the relationship afloat. In this season, Tanu wants to move to Canada much to Mickey's dismay.
Bosch: Legacy Season 2 (Freevee) - October 20
In Bosch: Legacy Season 2, Harry Bosch has ditched his cop badge for a private investigator license. He teams up with Honey Chandler and his daughter Maddie to begin his own journey.
Sayen: La Ruta Seca - October 20
Sayen: La Ruta Seca is the sequel to Prime Video's original movie Sayen which was the most-watched Latin American Amazon Original movie ever. It follows the story of Sayen who is the most wanted criminal now. She is in the Atacama Desert to take revenge on Actaeon, the multinational organization responsible for the tragic loss of her family.

Surrounded - October 20
Surrounded is about a woman who is left alone for twenty-four hours in a completely isolated country house after her husband, a lawyer, goes away for a business trip. She gets persecuted by invisible presences.
Upload Season 3 - October 20
Set in a technologically advanced future, the sci-fi comedy series Upload Season 3 is all about 3D food printers, AI assistance, holographic phones and more. It will be available to watch on Amazon Prime Video in English and Hindi.
The Other Zoey - October 20
The Other Zoey is a love triangle rom-com starring Josephine Langford and Drew Starkey. The film is about a college student who gets involved in a love trio when she meet popular soccer player Zach. He gets diagnosed with amnesia and Zoey helps him but unexpectedly catches feelings for his cousin, Miles.
Silver Dollar Road - October 20
The official synopsis of the documentary reads, "Silver Dollar Road follows the story of the Reels family who are valiantly attempting to protect the land their family bought one generation after slavery. This documentary, based on the 2019 ProPublica article, highlights the covert ways the legal system has been exploited to keep Black land ownership fragile and the racial wealth gap growing."
