Aadujeevitham- The Goat Life hit the theatres on March 29, 2024. It stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the role of a Malayali immigrant labourer, one among thousands of Indians who were forced into slavery as goatherds on secluded farms in the deserts of Saudi Arabia by the native Arabs. The Malayalam movie has been performing amazingly well at the box office. However, in a surprising turn of events, Aadujeevitham has broken a record made by Malayalam blockbuster film Manjummel Boys.

Aadujeevitham Breaks Manjummel Boys’ Record

‘Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life’ has achieved remarkable success, earning an impressive 47 crore domestically during its initial week of release. This amount is nearly twice the earnings of ‘Manjummel Boys’, which collected Rs 26.35 crore in its first eight days.

The movie premiered globally on March 28, 2024, garnering praise for its engaging storyline and the outstanding performances of the main actors. Since its release, it has amassed a substantial box office earnings of over ₹93 crores, making it one of the top-grossing Malayalam films of 2024.

'Aadujeevitham' is a movie based on the popular Malayalam novel of the same name, written by Benyamin in 2008. The novel tells the true story of Najeeb, a Malayali migrant worker who, like many others, was forced into slavery as a goatherd in the deserts of Saudi Arabia by native Arabs.

The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jimmy Jean-Louis, and K. R. Gokul in the main roles, supported by Talib Al Balushi, Rik Aby, Amala Paul, and Shobha Mohan in other important roles.
