JE Entertainment Desk: Om Raut's film 'Adipurush' is all set to release in theatres on June 16 after much delay. Despite receiving criticism, the movie has created a lot of buzz amongst the audience and its advance booking numbers are high. In 2023, only 'Pathaan' has been able to create a storm at the box office. Prabhas' films have also impacted the box office earlier and fans are hoping that 'Adipurush' will break the record of 'Baahubali'.

Adipurush Box Office Prediction:

According to several media reports, 'Adipurush' is expected to have a great opening day in the Hindi belt and the Telugu states. As per the report by Bollywood Life, the movie is likely to collect Rs 55 crore in the Telugu states and around Rs 30 crore in North India.

If 'Adipurush' will cross the Rs 100 crore mark on its opening day, then it will beat the record created by Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan'. Earlier, SS Rajamouli's 'RRR', Yash's 'KGF 2' and Prabhas' 'Baahubali 2' collected over Rs 100 crore on day one.

'Adipurush' Advance Booking:

According to a report by Koimoi, 'Adipurush' sold over 36,000 tickets in the 3D Hindi version which amounts to Rs 1.40 crore. Meanwhile, the movie has already earned Rs 20 lakh approximately and has grossed over Rs 1.62 crore in a day in all versions.

The movie will reportedly not release in IMAX as DC's film 'The Flash' has already blocked the IMAX screens in advance. After the release of its teaser, 'Adipurush' faced criticism due to its poor VFX and portrayal of Ramayana. Kriti defended her film and said, "As Om Raut, my director has mentioned in the note that was brought out, it is a film that we all are extremely proud of. It is a film which is of grand canvas; it is a part of our history and is extremely important. It needs to be put out in the right way and in the best possible way because that’s what he (Om) also had envisioned."

'Adipurush' Tickets Donation:

Ranbir Kapoor has donated 10,000 tickets to NGOs across the Hindi belts and Ananya Birla has also joined him in this initiative. 'Karthikeya 2' producer Abhishek Agarwal also announced that he will donate 10,000 tickets out of his devotion to Lord Ram. He will donate the tickets to government schools, old-age homes, and orphanages located in Telangana.
