Ameesha Patel Moradabaad Event Case: Bollywood star Ameesha Patel has hit back at reports of a fresh legal crisis, following the news that a court in Moradabad issued a non-bailable warrant against her. The warrant was issued on Monday, February 16, 2026, by the Moradabad ACJM-5 court after the actor failed to appear for a scheduled hearing. She has now been ordered to present herself before the court on March 27, 2026.
What Are The Allegations Against Ameesha Patel In Moradabad Event Case?
The legal dispute dates back to 2017 and involves a complaint filed by event organiser Pawan Verma. According to the initial report, Verma alleged that Ameesha atel was paid an advance of approximately £11,000 to £14,000 (Rs 11-14.5 lakh) to attend a wedding event in Moradabad. Pawan Verma claimed that despite receiving the payment and arriving in Delhi from Mumbai, the actor allegedly demanded an additional £2,000 (Rs 2 lakh) in cash. When the organisers refused, she reportedly returned to Mumbai without attending the function. Furthermore, it is alleged that cheques issued to refund the amount subsequently bounced.
