The movie revolves around journalist, Vaishali Singh, who is fighting for justice and trying to expose people involved in the sexual assault case of girls living at a shelter home. 'Raman Raghav 2.0' revolves around Ramanna, a serial killer, who gets obsessed with Raghavan, the investigating officer of his case and tries to convince him of their similarities. The movie stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vicky Kaushal in the titular roles. It is inspired by the real-life serial killer Raman Raghav and is streaming on Zee5.

4. Talvar

'Talvar' is also based on the 2008 Noida double murder case. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the movie stars Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma and Neeraj Kabi in the lead roles. It is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

5. Not A Love Story

'Not A Love Story' is inspired by the murder of Neeraj Grover in 2008. Directed by Ram Gopal Varma, the movie stars Mahie Gill, Deepak Dobriyal and Ajay Gehi in the lead roles.

6. Black Friday

'Black Friday' is based on the book, Black Friday: The True Story of the Bombay Bomb Blasts, which is about the 1993 Bombay bombings. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the movie stars Pawan Malhotra, Kay Kay Menon, Aditya Srivastava, Kishor Kadam and Zakir Hussain. It is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

7. Gangs Of Wasseypur

'Gangs Of Wasseypur' focuses on the coal mafia of Dhanbad and the struggle for power and revenge between three families. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the movie stars Manoj Bajpai, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Pankaj Tripathi, Richa Chadda, Huma Qureshi and Tigmanshu Dhulia in the lead roles.
