Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar reportedly met director Prashanth Neel and had a discussion on collaborating in two big banner movies. According to the report by DT Next, one film could be a standalone flick and the other one could connect to the world of Yash's blockbuster ‘KGF’. The reports also suggest that these movies would take a year to get launched. These Ajith starrers will be produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films.
Ajith is currently working on VidaaMuyarchi directed by Magizh Thirumeni. The story revolves around a married man who is in search of his wife while they are on a trip. But finds obstacles by unknown villains.
The action thriller will also feature Trisha Krishnan, Regina Cassandra, Arjun Sarja, Arav Nafeez, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Arjun Das and Arun Vijay in key roles. The movie is scheduled to be released in theatres on 31st October this year.
Sources told DT Next, “Ajith and Prashanth had a meeting during VidaaMuyarchi schedule break last month. Prashanth has asked over three years of Ajith’s time. Their first collaboration, which could be AK 64, will be a standalone project. This will go on floors in 2025 and release in 2026.” Talking about the second project, the source added “The climax of the second film will lead to KGF 3 and Ajith’s character is touted to be the biggest of them all in Prashanth Neel Cinematic Universe.”
After the shoot of VidaaMuyarchi, Ajith will be next seen in Good Bad Ugly. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the movie will also star Sreeleela, Naslen and Sunil in prominent roles. The movie is scheduled to release in theatres in 2025.
Ajith Kumar is a big name in Tamil film industry. He has worked on several projects like Thunivu, Viswasam, Valimai, Mankatha, Vedalam, Vivegam, Yennai Arindhaal, Veeram, Kandukondain Kandukondain, Aarambam, Varalaru and Dheena to name a few.
