New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: The makers of Good Newwz have dropped the latest song Laal Ghagra featuring Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor. The video shows the on-screen couple grooving to the Lohri number stepping out in red skirt. The 2.43-minute song is sung by Manj Musik, Neha Kakkar and Herbie Sahara while Tanishk Bagchi have given music and lyrics to the song. The tune is a recreation of RDB in which Akshay can seen performing new dance steps, while Kareena rides a swing dressed in white blouse and red ghagra. You have to wait for a minute to see Akshay join her in ghagra.
The song was earlier scheduled for a Monday release, but got delayed. Akshay had dropped a teaser of the song on Sunday with the caption, "Karlo ghaghra tight, Bebo & I are coming! #LaalGhaghra song out tomorrow! (get ready, Bebo & I are coming)."
Earlier, the makers had released two dance numbers Chandigarh Mein and Sauda Khara Khara.
Akshay had last featured performing quirky dance moves sporting a bald look in Housefull 4, grooving to Shaitan Ka Saala Bala. He was also seen performing 'nagin dance' in Sauda Khara Khara. Kareena was last seen performing dance on Tareefan that also featured Sonam Kapoor. Besides Good Newwz, the actress will also feature in Laal Singh Chadda and Angrezi Medium, set to release in 2020.
In the movie, Akshay and Kareena play the role of a married couple, trying to have a baby via In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF). However, a major goof up takes place as Akshay and Diljit's-- playing the role of Batra's-- sperms are interchanged. While Akshay and Kareena play sophisticated and poised couple, Kiara and Diljit are typical Punjabis-- friendly, outspoken and funny ones. The Raj Mehta directorial is slated to release on December 27.
