Amid allegations of unpaid dues to actors and crew members, Pooja Entertainment has broken its silence, revealing that Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has stepped in to help resolve the issue. This comes after Federation of Western India Cine Employees' (FWICE) President BN Tiwari claimed that veteran film producer Vashu Bhagnani owes over Rs 65 lakh to crew members who worked on 'Mission Raniganj,' 'Ganapath,' and 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.' Now, in a statement Jackky Bhagnani revealed that lead star Akshay Kumar has requested his own payments to be put on hold until the entire cast and crew receive their dues.
The company has come under increased scrutiny after crew members publicly aired grievances on social media regarding unpaid dues. Bhagnani said, "Akshay sir met me recently to discuss this matter. Upon learning about this situation, Akshay sir didn't hesitate to step forward and show his support for the crew. He has insisted that his payments be placed on hold until every single cast and crew member working on our projects receive their full and final payment."
"We are incredibly grateful for Akshay sir’s understanding and his willingness to stand with us during this time. The movie business hinges on strong relationships and that is the spirit we strive to foster at Pooja Entertainment," he added.

Apart from crew, several actors including Sonakshi Sinha, Tiger Shroff, Alaya F, Manushi Chhillar and others from the film 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' are reportedly still waiting for their payments from producer Vashu Bhagnani's Pooja Entertainment. According to Indian Express, "Tiger Shroff too has not received his fees for the film. He has maintained his silence on the non-payment of his dues for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan but after learning that the crew and the support staff, who gave the film their all, have also not been paid, he wants the production house to clear the dues immediately."
"None of these actors on the film have received their dues either. They completed their work on the film and even after requesting them a few times, there was no reply. They also promoted the film because they didn’t want to leave the film hanging, but there was no payment made," it added.
