Actor Akshay Kumar has given a glowing review of Rajkummar Rao’s latest film, Srikanth, praising Rao's performance as a visually impaired industrialist. Rajkummar Rao, known for his versatility, has been receiving widespread acclaim for his portrayal of Srikanth Bolla, an inspirational figure who overcame visual impairment to become a successful entrepreneur.
On Friday, Akshay Kumar took to social media to share his thoughts on the film, which was released on May 10. The Bade Miyan Chote Miyan actor posted a poster of Srikanth on his Instagram story, urging his followers to watch the movie. In his post, Akshay highlighted Rajkummar's exceptional acting skills, describing him as "simply brilliant."
In a playful and encouraging message, Akshay wrote, “Nothing is impossible. #Srikanth is a must watch! Picture dekh ke mazza aa gaya. Rajkummar_rao bhai ab toh acting ki classes shuru kar de. You are simply brilliant.”
Rajkummar was deeply moved by Akshay’s praise and responded with gratitude, “Thank you so much my dearest @akshaykumar sir. Aapse hi seekhte hain sir. You’re the best.”

In Srikanth, Rajkummar portrays Srikanth Bolla, who founded Bollant Industries despite his visual impairment. The film also features Jyotika, Alaya F, and Sharad Kelkar in significant roles and is directed by Tushar Hiranandani.

Rajkummar Rao prepared extensively for his role, as he shared in a conversation with ANI. "Preparation was needed for this film because I have never played a visually impaired role before," he said.
He explained that his preparation involved spending considerable time at a blind school and interacting with visually impaired individuals to understand their perspectives and experiences. Rajkummar also spent time with Srikanth Bolla himself to accurately depict his life on screen.
