Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon drew eyeballs at a recent event in Mumbai when the duo came together on stage after 20 years. For the unversed, twenty years prior, the pair had called off their engagement and had not been spotted together since. On the other hand, during an awards ceremony on Sunday, Raveena gave Akshay Kumar an award while also engaging in lighthearted banter.

While the KGF 2 actor looked ravishing in a shiny black and beige dress, Akshay Kumar looked dapper in an all-black ensemble. The duo also shared a warm hug on stage, as evident from the viral videos.

Fans were excited to see their favourite actors reuniting on stage as they chimed into the comments section and dropped heartfelt reactions. An Instagram user commented, "Wowwwww together," another one wrote, "ek alag si kashish when raveena sees him," and others also dropped hearts.

The relationship between Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon is said to have begun in 1994 on the set of Mohra. The relationship reportedly lasted a few years and included an engagement. Nevertheless, things did not go as planned, and they called off their engagement.

On the professional front, Raveena Tandon was last seen in blockbuster KGF 2, which stars superstar Yash in the lead role. She will be next seen in Ghudchadi, which also stars Sanjay Dutt in the lead. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar was last seen in Selfiee, which failed to impress the audience in theatres. He will be next seen in Soorarai Pottru Remake, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, OMG 2, Hera Pheri 3, and more.
