Akshay Kumar is the biggest superstar in Bollywood, who has made a record of giving blockbusters one after another. However, this year did not go well for him in terms of maintaining the box office number at the same level. His movies like Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Sarfira have flopped at the ticket windows. During the trailer release event of Akshay’s Khel Khel Mein, the actor shared that he has been getting obituary messages for his back-to-back flop movies.

At the event, Akshay Kumar said,  “Main mara nai hu..main mara nai hu.. vo wale message nai hote jo obituary wale, condolence wale aate, are yaar. Isiliye kisi journalist likh bhi diya ‘don’t worry you will be back.” Arre main usse likh bhi diya bhai yeh kyun likh raha hai, main gaya kahan hu, idhar hi hu, kaam karta rahunga, hamesha karta rahunga. Koi kuch bhi bole. Subh uthna hai, kasrat karna hai, kaam pe jaana, waapis aana hai. Jo bhi kamata hu, apne dum pe kamata hu, kisi se kuch manga nai hai. I will keep on working till they shoot me down.”

“Whatever happens, happens for good. Four or five films didn't do well, and I received messages like 'sorry, friend.' I say, don't worry, everything will be fine. I'm not dead, I'm still here,” he added.

"I will always keep working, no matter what people say. I have to get up in the morning, exercise, go to work, and then come home. Whatever I earn, I earn on my own. I have never asked for anything from anyone. I will keep shooting till my last breath," he added.

Khel Khel Mein also stars Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk,  Madhumalti Kapoor, Aparshakti Khurana and Johnny Lever in significant roles. Mudassar Aziz’s directorial will be released in theatres on 15th August.
