Akshay Kumar Car Accident: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s security vehicle was involved in a road accident on Monday evening in Mumbai’s Juhu area. The incident took place while the actor and his wife, author and former actor Twinkle Khanna, were travelling home from the airport after returning from an overseas trip. According to initial reports, the accident occurred due to a chain collision involving multiple vehicles. While the incident caused panic at the scene, no serious injuries have been reported so far. Both Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are safe.
As per early information shared by authorities and eyewitnesses, a speeding car allegedly rammed into an auto-rickshaw from behind. The impact caused the auto-rickshaw to lose balance and overturn on the road. Moments later, the overturned rickshaw collided with one of the vehicles from Akshay Kumar’s security convoy. Due to the force of the collision, the escort vehicle toppled onto its right side. Videos circulating on social media showed the security car lying on its side, while the auto-rickshaw appeared severely damaged and crushed from above. Police officials reached the spot shortly after the accident and managed the situation. Traffic in the area was briefly affected before being brought under control.

Despite the frightening nature of the crash, no fatalities were reported. The auto driver and a passenger, who were briefly trapped under the damaged vehicle, were rescued quickly. Eyewitnesses stated that Akshay Kumar immediately stepped out of his SUV to help those injured. An eyewitness told Hindustan Times, “It was scary to see the accident but thankfully everyone is safe." The injured individuals were provided medical assistance, and their condition is said to be stable. No major injuries have been confirmed at this time.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Police officials confirmed that the accident occurred around 9 pm near the Silver Beach Cafe area in Juhu. While no formal complaint has been registered yet, authorities have begun investigating the sequence of events that led to the collision. Officials are examining CCTV footage and statements from those present at the scene. Further details are awaited as the investigation continues.
