Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has always impressed fans and audiences with his sense of humour and impeccable acting skills. The actor has been also known for sharing his family values, and political and social beliefs on public platforms. Recently, Akshay Kumar opened up about his personal life and revealed that his elder son Aarav does not want to be part of Bollywood. He further claimed that Aarav leads a simplistic life in London.
In a chat with Shikhar Dhawan for his show Dhawan Karenge, Akshay said, “My son Aarav is studying at the university in London. He left home at the age of 15. He was always fond of studying and wanted to stay alone. It was his decision to move even though I didn’t want him to go. However, I could not stop him because I left my home at the age of 14.”
“He does his own laundry, he is a good cook, does the utensils and doesn’t even want to buy expensive clothes. In fact, he goes to a second-hand store, thrifty, to buy clothes because he doesn’t believe in wastage. We never forced him to do anything. he is interested in fashion, he doesn’t want to be a part of cinema. He came to me and said that I don’t want to do films. I said this is your life, do what you want to do,” he added.
The actor also said, “I am happy the way Twinkle and I have brought up Aarav; he is a very simple boy. My daughter, on the other hand, likes clothes.”
On the work front, Akshay Kumar will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. It also stars Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff in key roles. The movie is slated to be released on Independence Day this year. His another movie Sky Force will also be released this year. The film will feature Sara Ali Khan, Suniel Shetty and Nimrat Kaur in significant parts.
