The tragic incident occurred on December 4, when Allu Arjun's unexpected presence at the Sandhya Theatre led to a chaotic surge of fans attempting to enter the venue. Reports indicate that the disorder was primarily caused by inadequate crowd management and security measures, even though the theater management was fully aware of the high-profile visit.
In the aftermath of the incident, which resulted in the death of a woman, the police detained three individuals, including a co-partner of the theater. The authorities then charged Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theater management under sections 105 and 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023. These charges were filed based on a complaint from the family of the deceased woman, and the case is being investigated at the Chikkadpally police station.
