The much-anticipated movie of the year Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rule, which was scheduled to release in theatres on 15th August, has now been postponed as per the latest reports. The reason behind the delay is that Director Sukumar could not finish the shooting of the movie and its post-production work yet. However, the makers of Pushpa have not given any official statement regarding this matter. 

According to reports, there is a month of shooting left which Sukumar aims to complete by July. Amid all the speculations about the release date of Pushpa: The Rule, there are many films which are now going to be released on 15th August. It seems ahead of the official announcement, the rumours have been circulated among distributors in trade circles.

1) Khel Khel Mein

Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein, which was earlier slated to be released on 6th September, now has been shifted to 15th August. Which also added fuel to the rumours of the postponement of the release date of Pushpa 2. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his ‘X’ account (formerly known as Twitter) and shared the news about the preponed release of Akshay Kumar starrer. 

The movie also stars Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Pragya Jaiswal, Ammy Virk, Madhumalti Kapoor, Aditya Seal and Freddy Daruwala in key roles.

2) Vedaa

John Abraham's Vedaa will also be released in theatres on 15th August. The action thriller drama also features Sharvari Wagh, Tamanna Bhatia, Kshitij Chauhan, and Abhishek Banerjee in pivotal roles.

3) Thangalaan

Chiyaan Vikram's Thangalaan might take advantage of the situation as the actor recently hinted towards exciting times on social media. Sharing his look from the movie, Vikram wrote “Exciting times!! #Thangalaan.” The action drama has been directed by Pa Ranjith. Thangalaan also stars Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Muthu Kumar, Pasupathi, Harikrishnan, and Hari Krishnan in significant roles. There is no official announcement of the movie’s release date yet.
