Mohanlal is one of the most popular and celebrated actors in Malayalam cinema. He has found popularity all over the country with his stellar performances. The actor was last seen in Alone and the movie is all set to release on OTT after its theatrical run.
Alone OTT release Date:
Alone will release on Disney+ Hotstar on March 3, 2023.
Announcing the release date, Disney+ Hotstar wrote, "A #MohanLal treat coming your way - #Alone streaming from 3rd March in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. #AloneOnHotstar."

The movie revolves around Kalidas, who gets stranded in an apartment building during the COVID-19 pandemic in India. Mohanlal as Kalidas is the only character seen on screen. In the voice cast, the movie stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Annie Shaji Kailas, Siddique, Baiju Santhosh, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Renji Panicker, among others.
In Alone, director Shaji Kailas and Mohanlal have collaborated on screen after 12 years. The film's story has been written by Rajesh Jayaraman and has been produced by Antony Perumbavoor under Aashirvad Cinemas.
Alone was released on January 26, 2023, and clashed with Pathaan at the box office. Pathaan stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead role.
Mohanlal was last seen in the October release ‘Monster’. The film received mixed reviews from audiences and critics alike. The film also starred Lakshmi Manchu, Honey Rose, Sudev Nair, Siddique, K. B. Ganesh Kumar, Lena, Johny Antony, and Jagapathi Babu alongside Mohanlal. The movie is now streaming on Dusney+ Hotstar.
Mohanlal will be seen in the Tamil film 'Jailer'. Directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar, Jailer stars Rajinikanth in the lead role. Tamannah Bhatia, Shiva Rajkumar Sunil, Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan and Yogi Babu have joined the team of Jailer as well. According to the reports, Jailer will release on August 11, 2023.
