Amaran Box Office Collection Day 26: Sivakarthikeyan's latest film Amaran has become a massive box office success, continuing to draw audiences even in its fourth week. The biopic, which highlights an inspiring tale, has received a positive response from viewers, boosting its earnings significantly. On its 26th day, the film added Rs 1 crore to its total, taking the domestic collection to an impressive Rs 208.50 crore, according to early estimates by Sacnilk.
On November 25, Amaran recorded an overall 15.13% occupancy in Tamil Nadu. The morning shows started at 12.96%, rising steadily with afternoon and evening shows at 15.54% and 16.50%, respectively, before concluding the day at 15.52% during night screenings.
The film is also doing well in Telugu regions, primarily due to Sai Pallavi’s popularity. It had an overall 16.04% occupancy in the Telugu market on the same day, with morning shows starting at 11.60% and reaching a peak of 19.11% for night shows.
The positive word-of-mouth and an engaging narrative have played a vital role in Amaran’s sustained box office performance. The film portrays the life of Mukund, whose inspiring story unfolds through the perspective of his wife, Indhu Rebecca Varghese. While the initial college romance sequences faced criticism for lack of conviction, the film gains momentum when Mukund joins the Officers Training Academy.
Amaran Movie Budget:
The Tamil superhit movie has been reportedly made on a budget of Rs 70-200 crore.
Amaran OTT Release:
The Tamil movie will soon be available for streaming on Netflix. The official announcement has not been made but it's expected to release in the first week of December. Meanwhile, Suriya’s Kanguva has been struggling to match Amaran’s success. Directed by Siva, Kanguva has received lukewarm reviews and has yet to cross Rs 70 crore at the box office.
