Amaran Box Office Collection Day 27: Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran continues its remarkable run at the box office, solidifying its status as one of the biggest blockbusters of 2024. The film has added Rs 1 crore to its total earnings on its 27th day, taking its cumulative Indian box office collection to an impressive Rs 209.65 crore, according to early estimates by Sacnilk.

On November 26, Amaran recorded an overall Tamil occupancy rate of 14.62%. Morning shows began at 12.34%, while afternoon and evening shows saw a slight increase at 13.53% and 15.64%, respectively. The night shows achieved the highest occupancy at 16.96%, reflecting consistent audience interest.

The Telugu region also contributed significantly to the film’s success. The film recorded an overall Telugu occupancy rate of 13.93%, with night shows peaking at 16.58%. Sai Pallavi’s appeal in the Telugu market has added to the film's sustained performance.

In contrast, Suriya’s Kanguva has struggled to match Amaran’s box office dominance. As of its 13th day, Kanguva has earned a total of Rs 68.47 crore, with just Rs 50 lakh collected on November 26. The film's Tamil occupancy rates stood at a modest 8.39%, with morning shows as low as 6.44%.

Amaran was made on a reported budget of Rs 80 crore, making its box office success even more noteworthy.

Amaran OTT Release

Fans eagerly awaiting the film’s OTT release can expect it to arrive on a popular streaming platform in early 2025. While the exact date is yet to be announced, the film’s widespread acclaim suggests it will be a highly anticipated release on Netflix. Sivakarthikeyan's Amaran has become a landmark film in his career, proving his versatility and mass appeal.
