Amaran Box Office Collection Day 5: Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi starrer Tamil movie has been doing wonders at the ticket windows. However, the box office number dropped on its first Monday. Still, the movie managed a strong grip on the numbers. If it continues to maintain the same pace at the box office, Amaran will soon cross the Rs 100 crore mark. The movie had a Diwali release on October 31 and garnered huge love from the audience. Let’s hope that the film continues to win the hearts of the audience in the upcoming days as well. 

Amaran Box Office Collection Day 5

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 10.25 crore on Day 5. The net collection of Amaran stands at Rs 93.35 crore. It had 48.59 per cent Tamil occupancy in theatres on November 4. The movie 36.66 per cent Tamil occupancy in the morning shows, 45.88 per cent in afternoon shows, 55.32 per cent in evening shows and 56.51 per cent in night shows. Amaran had 41.10 per cent Telugu occupancy on Monday. The breakouts of the day as follows- 29.89 per cent in morning shows, 43.21 per cent in afternoon shows, 36.52 per cent in evening shows and 54.78 per cent in night shows. 

About Amaran 

The story is set against the backdrop of the Qazipathri Operation in Shopian in 2014. The movie focuses on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan and his contribution to the operation. Amaran stars Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Suresh Chakravarthy, Shreekumar, Mir Salman, Shyam Mohan and Anbu Thasan in key roles. 

Amaran Budget 

If reports are to be believed, the movie was made on a budget of Rs 130 crore. With the growing numbers at the ticket windows, it seems the movie will soon cross the budget mark. 

Amaran OTT Release

After its successful theatrical run, the movie will be released on the OTT platform Netflix. Reportedly, the OTT giant bagged the digital rights of Amaran worth Rs 60 crore.
