Their relationship may be in peril, according to several sources, with some even raising the possibility of a divorce. The pair has decided to keep quiet about the issue in spite of the public interest, preferring to concentrate on their personal and professional obligations.

Amidst divorce reports, things have taken a new turn as Shweta Bachchan and her husband Nikhil Nanda sent flowers to Aishwarya Rai's brother and sister-in-law. Yes, you read that right. The PS I actress reportedly has a tumultuous relationship with her brother Aditya Rai and his wife Shrima Rai. For those who can't connect the dots, Shweta Bachchan is Aishwarya Rai's sister-in-law.

Aishwarya Rai's sister-in-law, Shrima, praised Shweta Bachchan and her husband, Nikhil Nanda, for giving her a lovely giant bouquet of flowers on her Instagram stories. The caption read, "Thank you Nikhil Nanda & Shweta. This is stunning." It's unclear what the occasion was, and even Shrima didn't disclose it. But it was certainly a kind gesture. Netizens, however, quickly built theories after a screenshot of Shrima's Instagram story appeared on Reddit.

One of the users wrote, "So either things are not at all as bad as everybody is making them out to be or everybody in both families get along with each other well enough except Ash who doesn't get along with anybody." Another user said, "Not the Nanand and Bhabhi reunion we were expecting." Meanwhile Abhishek Bachchan referred himself as 'fortunate' a few days prior to the aforementioned photo went viral because his wife was always taking care of their daughter Aaradhya. In an interview to The Hindu, he said, "In my household, I'm lucky I get to go out and make movies but I know that Aishwarya is at home with Aaradhya and I thank her immensely for that but I don’t think the kids look at it that way."
