Actors Who Played Multiple Roles In Marvel Movies: Marvel Studios has surprised the fans by announcing Robert Downey Jr's return to the MCU as Doctor Doom. For the unversed, the actor earlier essayed the role of very-much loved superhero Iron Man aka Tony Stark and his character died in 'Avengers: Endgame' movie. Robert Downey Jr will now be seen as MCU's biggest supervillain as the studio has scrapped the Kang Dynasty project. This is not the first time actors have played multiple Marvel characters.

Take a look at the actors who have played more than one Marvel character in Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.

1. Benedict Cumberbatch As Doctor Strange And Dormammu

Benedict Cumberbatch is best known for playing the role of Doctor Strange in Marvel movies and has also got his solo movies as well. Not many fans know that the actor gave voice to the villain Dormammu in the Dark Dimension and it reflected Strange's evil reflection.

2. Gemma Chan As Minn-Erva And Sersi

Gemma Chan first appeared in Marvel as Starforce, who was the villain in 'Captain Marvel'. She later starred in the lead role in 'Eternals' in which she played the role of Sersi. Gemma might essay the role of Sersi again in 'Eternals 2', which is currently not in production.

3. Judy Greer As Maggie And War Pig

Judy Greer has played several memorable roles in her career. She was seen in 'Ant-Man' as Scott Lang's ex-wife Maggie and later gave voice to War Pig in the movie 'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.3'.

4. Michelle Yeoh As Aleta Ogord And Ying Nan

Michelle Yeoh first appeared in MCU in a cameo role and was seen in 'Guardians Of The Galaxy'. She later joined MCU in the pivotal role of Ying Nan, Shang-Chi and Xialing's aunt and one of the guardians of the mystical dimension of Ta Lo.

5. Nathan Fillion Played Kyln And Master Karja

Nathan Fillion has also played several memorable yet fun roles in his career and his character in the Marvel movies was also memorable one. He first appeared in 'Guardians of the Galaxy' as a blue alien prisoner in the Kyln. He was later seen as Master Karja, a security officer at the Orgoscope, in 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3'.
