Amitabh Bachchan sustained injuries to his rib and toe during the filming of Prabhas's high-budget movie, Project K. However, he has now returned to work after recuperating. Renowned photographer Avinash Gowarikar has shared images of the iconic actor on social media, stating that he arrived on set 20 minutes before his scheduled call time and finished work early.

Gowarikar took to Twitter and wrote, "TheBoss is back on set! Looking cooler & dapper than ever. Came 20 minutes before time... Finished 30 minutes before time...He's just... no words @SrBachchan (sic)."

Here's the tweet:

Amitabh had earlier shared that he experienced discomfort in his rib and toe due to an accident on the set of Project K. He rested and sought medical treatment to recover.

On Wednesday, Big B too took to his blog to share some photos from of himself, on set. He wrote, "Off to work… a few limps and slings apart .. but striding on .."

Talking about the pictures, he wrote, "the face.. the touch ups.. and the shot.." and, "corrections and discussions on the writing.. amicable and on.." and, "the mood be slightly grim in the work front… and that is reflected on the page…"

Last month it was reported that Amitabh Bachchan's recovery from his injury was taking more time than anticipated. A close family friend had revealed that even after his ribs were healed, he would need a break from work for some time. However, Bachchan, who is set to turn 81 in October, was eager to resume work as soon as possible.

"He is getting extremely restless. It's been three weeks since he has been advised complete bed rest. He's done with his quota of binge-watching and reading. He wants to get back to shooting ASAP, which doctors have advised him against," a family friend told Bollywood Hungama. "Even when the ribs are repaired, he won't be allowed to shoot for a while," the source added.

On the work front, Big B last appeared in Uunchai, which is streaming on Zee5. The actor is presently shooting for Prabhas and Deepika Padukone's Project K which is expected to hit the theatres in early 2024.
