Anees Bazmee, enjoying the success of his recent horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, has shared insights on his long-awaited project, No Entry 2. Despite delays that have left fans curious, Bazmee is confident that the film is not "jinxed." He explained in a conversation with ETimes, “No, I don’t believe that the project is jinxed. Jab woh mauka aayega tab aayega. Har film ki ek kundali hoti hai. Jis din mauka aayega you will end up completing the film.”

The sequel to the 2005 comedy hit No Entry, which starred Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan, has faced a series of delays. The script for No Entry 2 has been ready for a while, but the production has been pushed back for various reasons. In March, producer Boney Kapoor finally confirmed a fresh cast for the sequel, including Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh. However, the film is yet to go on floors.

Reflecting on the timing of projects, Bazmee commented, “Back in the days, we never planned No Entry. The right day came and we just started shooting. Jo hota hai achche ke liye hota hai. Jo aap chahte ho woh ho jaye toh bohot achcha hai. Lekin jo aap chahte ho ki ho aur woh nahi ho raha hai toh I feel woh zyada achcha hai kyunki upar wala aapko aapse zyada pyaar karta hai. He is trying to keep you safe.”

In recent conversations, fans have speculated about whether Salman Khan might make a cameo in the sequel. While Bazmee didn't confirm, he reminisced fondly about his past work with the superstar in Ready, hinting at the strong bond they share.

Initially, Salman Khan was interested in producing a sequel to No Entry. However, after realizing the complicated legal process involved, he chose to step back from the project. Producer Boney Kapoor decided to continue with the sequel but opted for a new cast, which reportedly caused tension with his brother Anil Kapoor, who had starred in the original film.

In an exclusive statement to Zoom, Boney Kapoor shared, “Before I could tell my brother Anil about the No Entry sequel and the cast involved, he got angry as the news was already leaked. It was unfortunate that it was leaked. I know he wanted to be a part of the No Entry sequel, but there was no space. I wanted to explain why I did what I did.” Fans are now eagerly awaiting to see how the fresh cast lineup will bring the same comedic spark as the original.
