Thandel, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, has finally locked in its release date. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by Allu Aravind, the film will premiere on February 7, 2025, marking an exciting date for Telugu cinema fans and fans of both lead actors. Initially planned for a Dussehra release, the schedule was later postponed to Sankranthi due to production delays and ultimately confirmed for early February.
In Thandel, Naga Chaitanya takes on a challenging new role, portraying a fisherman from a rural background—a first for the actor. His character finds himself in troubled waters, literally and figuratively, as he inadvertently crosses into Pakistani territory and is detained. This story angle, which delves into Indo-Pak relations, forms the core of Thandel's gripping narrative, promising a fresh perspective within the action-drama genre. Sai Pallavi joins Chaitanya as the female lead, adding her flair to the film and reportedly receiving a significant fee for her performance in this intense role.
