Anil Kapoor’s name has been recently featured in TIME’s 100 most influential people in AI 2024 list. It is the second annual TIME 100 AI list of TIME Magazine. This celebrates the 100 most influential  people in the realm of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The list also consists of big names including Ashwini Vaishnaw, Scarlett Johansson, Marques Brownlee, Lawrence Lek, Mark Zuckerberg, Sundar Pichai, and Satya Nadella. Kapoor received the honour after he won the legal battle in 2023 when the Delhi High Court issued an order to refrain from using his name, voice, image or any other personal trait without his permission. This came after his popular dialogues like ‘Jhakas’ and ‘Awesome’ went viral on social media along with his morphed videos and emojis. 

During that time, Kapoor told Variety “It’s not only for me. Today, I’m there to protect myself, but when I’m not there, the family should have the right to protect my (personality) and gain from it in future. My intention is not to interfere with anyone’s freedom of expression or to penalize anyone. My intent was to seek protection of my personality rights and prevent any misuse for commercial gains, particularly in the current scenario with rapid changes in technology and tools like artificial intelligence.” 

On the work front, Anil Kapoor will be next seen in War 2. The movie also features Jr NTR, Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani in key roles. Ayan Mukerji’s directorial will be released in 2025. 

Kapoor will be also seen in Alpha which stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh in the lead roles. Alpha is part of the YRF Spy Universe created by Aditya Chopra. The shooting of the much-awaited film has already started. Currently, Alia Bhatt is filming in Kashmir.
