Satish Kaushik's Last Movie: In a poignant tribute to the late actor Satish Kaushik, Anil Kapoor took to social media to share the trailer of Kaagaz 2, Satish Kaushik's final film. The sequel to the acclaimed 2021 comedy-drama, Kaagaz, is set to premiere theatrically on March 1, stirring emotions among fans who continue to cherish the actor's memorable performances.

Satish Kaushik, known for his versatile roles and endearing presence on screen, passed away on March 9, 2023, leaving behind a lasting impact on the Hindi film industry. His portrayal in the original Kaagaz earned him the Best Supporting Actor award, showcasing his remarkable talent both in front of and behind the camera, as he also directed the film.

Anil Kapoor, who shared a close bond with Satish Kaushik, expressed his sentiments on Instagram, emphasizing the significance of Kaagaz 2 as a tribute to his dear friend's legacy. Kapoor remarked, "This film is extra special…my very dear friend’s last film…I feel lucky to see him perform one last time. Yeh sirf mudda nahi, yeh har aadmi ke emotions hai" (English: This is not just an issue, but the emotions of every person).

The trailer of Kaagaz 2 offers a glimpse into the narrative, highlighting the challenges faced by a father, portrayed by Satish Kaushik, as he navigates through a series of obstacles caused by a political rally while rushing his injured daughter to the hospital. The storyline unfolds into a gripping courtroom drama, depicting his relentless pursuit of justice amidst bureaucratic hurdles.

Anupam Kher, another close friend of Satish Kaushik, expressed his admiration for the late actor's dedication to Kaagaz 2, referring to it as his "passion project." Kher shared his sentiments on social media, assuring that the brilliance of the film will be celebrated and remembered by audiences worldwide. He wrote, "Dearest SATISH KAUSHIK! The trailer of your passion project and unfortunately the last project Kaagaz 2 is releasing tomorrow! I know how hard you worked to create this film."

Directed by VK Prakash, Kaagaz 2 boasts a talented ensemble cast including Neena Gupta and Darshan Kumaar, further adding depth to the narrative.
