Animal OTT Release: Ranbir Kapoor-starrer ‘Animal’ hit the theatres on December 1, 2023. The movie turned out to be a blockbuster soon after its release. Apart from Ranbir, ‘Animal’ also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Triptii Dimri, and more in pivotal roles. On its 35th day of release, the movie achieved a noteworthy milestone by crossing the ₹500 crore net mark in Hindi and ₹550 crore across all languages in India. Consequently, it secured its position as the second-highest net-grossing Hindi film in the country. Box Office India officially bestowed the film with the title of "All Time Blockbuster."

ANIMAL OTT RELEASE DATE OUT

According to a report by South First, the directorial venture by Sandeep Reddy Vanga will reportedly start streaming on Netflix from January 26, coinciding with Republic Day. While the streaming giant involved has not officially confirmed or denied these speculations, a Twitter account named OTTGuru appears to have shared insights into the potential digital debut date for this blockbuster. 

Making the announcement on X (formerly Twitter), the administrators of the handle disclosed, "Animal's OTT release is slated for January 26!" Take a look:

Animal OTT Version To Be Lenthier Than Original Version

In a recent interview, Bobby revealed that the omitted moment might find its way into the uncut version of the film on OTT platforms. In a conversation with The Quint, Bobby Deol said, “Sandeep told me 'There are these two brothers, they want to kill each other, but there’s a love that they have for each other. I’m going to shoot the climax sequence with a song playing in the background, which is about love'."

Bobby further added, “He (Sandeep) said, 'You’re fighting, and you suddenly kiss him (Ranbir), and then you don’t give up, and he kills you'. But he removed the kiss. There was a kiss. I think it might come on the uncut Netflix version.”
