Parineeti Chopra broke her silence about losing a job opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Animal in the most recent interview with Aap Ki Adalat. "To be honest, I think god had something better for me. I was doing that film, almost everything was worked out. But on the same dates, I was offered Chamkila," she said.

Parineeti Chopra continued, "I was offered many songs, I was singing songs composed by AR Rahman, Imtiaz Ali was my dream director. I was offered to do so much more, that I chose to do Chamkila. And the love, support, recognition, respect and nominations which I got because of Chamkila, I think I don’t regret it, I am happy (sic)."

Parineeti Chopra-Raghav Chadha's Love Story

Parineeti and Raghav's love story officially began when they first met at an awards ceremony in London. She was present to accept the 'Outstanding Achiever Award' in the entertainment industry, and Raghav was honoured for his contributions to politics and government. Remarkably, Parineeti was unaware of the politician at the time, but her brother Shivang was a big admirer. The Uunchai actress approached Raghav after her brother encouraged her to do so.

Following a brief exchange at the awards ceremony, the two met with a number of other attendees. She mentioned in the same chat with Rajat Sharma that after an hour, Raghav abruptly got up, went to the food table, and returned with a plate full of food. I thought, "I might marry this person one day," since it felt so comfortable and grounded.
