JE Entertainment Desk: Japanese sci-fi fantasy anime film 'Black Cover: Sword Of The Wizard King' is already creating tons of buzz, where the film was recently released on June 16, 2023. It is an adaptation based on the 'Black Clover' manga series by Yuki Tabata.
The anime television series adaptation of the manga is currently silent after releasing four seasons in 2021. However, 'Sword Of The Wizard King' will take the fans back to the 'Black Clover' universe and to anime fans where they will witness the kingdom for an adventure on Netflix. Fans can witness the film on Netflix, as from June 16, the makers have started streaming the sci-fi anime.
The film is directed by Ayataka Tanemura and revolves around the story of a brave boy who cannot world magic and strives for the title of Wizard King, where the four banished Wizard Kings of Yore return to crush the Clover kingdom.
The film is over one hour and 53 minutes long where the lead gains merit and is on the way to becoming the Wizard King when the former evil Wizard King Conrad makes an appearance with three previously shown Wizard Kings. The lead, Asta is then revived with the Imperial Sword where their goal is to destroy the kingdom and the lead tries to protect all.
The lead of the film, Asta is voiced by Gakuto Kajiwara in the Japanese version and Dallas Reid in the English one. On the other hand, Yuno Grinberryall has been voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki in Japanese and Micah Solusod in English. The stellar cast voice details have been given by Kana Yūki and Jill Harris as Noelle Silva, Junichi Suwabe and Christopher Sabat as Yami Sukehiro, Toshiyuki Morikawa and Robert McCollum as Julius Novachrono, and Toshihiko Seki and Chris Niosi as Conrad Leto.
'Black Clover: Sword Of The Wizard King' is the first film in the franchise, where several characters from the earlier series are expected to make a return. Initially, the film was supposed to release in March 2021, however, because of the COVID-19 complications, the post-production of the film got delayed.
