Television stars Ankit Gupta and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary had been rumoured to be dating for quite some time. But, recent speculations arose that the two have parted ways after they unfollowed each other on Instagram. Amid the breakup rumours, Ankit confirmed his exit from Terre Ho Jaayein Hum show which features Priyanka in the lead roles. He shared that he need some time to rejuvenate and recharge. Ankt further shared that is the reason he also didn’t sign Khatron Ke Khiladi, this year. 

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Ankit said “Yes, I backed out of the project with Ravi-Sargun. I don’t think I would be able to commit to that project right now. Maybe I need some time for myself to rejuvenate and recharge. As I said, that’s probably why I won’t do Khatron Ke Khiladi this year either. I’m just taking time for myself, so I’m not thinking about work at the moment.” 

Ankit Gupta and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary were last seen in Udaariyaan, which premiered in 2021 on Colors TV. The show also starred Isha Malviya, Twinkle Arora, Alisha Parveen, Hitesh Bharadwaj and Aditi Bhagat in key roles. After the success of the show, Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta announced that Ankit and Priyanka would be paired in a new show Terre Ho Jaayein Hum, which left fans excited. However, after Ankit’s exit from the show, makers will be seeing a new lead male face for the show. 

On the professional front, Ankit Gupta also worked in Maati Se Bandhi Dor, Junooniyatt, Swapnodana, Sadda Haq, Mayavi Maling and Begusarai to name a few. 

On the other hand, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary is known for her work in Udaariyaan, Gathbandhan, Swapnodana, Dus June Ki Raat, 3G Gaali Galoch Girls and Ishqholics.
