Annapoorani OTT Release Date: Nayanthara-starrer 'Annapoorani' is all set to release on the OTT platform after its theatrical run. The movie focuses on an aspiring chef, who hails from a Brahmin family but wants to be well-versed in cooking non-vegetarian food. She secretly gets enrolled in a culinary school and later takes part in a culinary competition to become a Corporate Chef. 'Annapoorani' did not perform well at the box office but Nayanthara received praise for her impressive performance.

'Annapoorani' will release on Netflix on December 29.

Apart from Nayanthara, the movie also stars Jai and Sathyaraj in the lead roles. The movie is produced by Zee Studios, Trident Arts, and Naad Studios with cinematography handled by Dinesh Krishnan.

Nayanthara has completed over 19 years in the film industry and talked about her journey in an interview with PTI. She said, "There is so much that I have learnt, so much that I have gone through, but it is all been nice. Whatever mistakes I have made, the good and bad phases (I have been through), everything is good now. It is all a learning experience. It is not easy to be in the industry for 18-19 years, but the audience and God have been kind to me. I feel blessed. I don’t know how to put the whole thing together."

On the work front, Nayanthara was last seen in 'Jawan' along with Shah Rukh Khan and Vijay Sethupathi. The movie became a blockbuster at the box office, becoming one of the most successful films of 2023.

She will next star in the sports film 'Test' alongside R Madhavan and Siddharth. The makers have not revealed a lot of details about the plot of 'Test' but the movie will be a sports drama and will focus on cricket. 'Test' is produced by Chakravarthy Ramachandran and Sasikanth under Y Not Studios.
