Anuja OTT Release Date Confirmed: Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been supporting original movies with her production company and inspiring up-and-coming filmmakers to produce audiences with some incredible stuff. She recently became an executive producer for Anuja, and she was thrilled to learn that the American-Hindi movie was a 2025 Oscar nominee.

Anuja OTT Release Update

The trailer for Anuja was released on Wednesday night by Netflix India's official social media accounts, which also wrote, "ANUJA is a story of resilience, sisterhood, and hope. The Academy Award Nominated Live Action Short Film comes to Netflix February 5."

As a result, Anuja will have its debut a few weeks before the Oscars, which will be held on March 3 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, on January 23, 2025, some six days ago, Priyanka Chopra posted on her Instagram account to show her delight after The Academy revealed that Anuja was nominated in the Live Action Short Film category. First, the movie's executive producer congratulated the team on the positive news.

Anuja Movie Cast And Plot 

Sajda Pathan plays the title character, Anuja, in the movie. Ananya Shanbhag, Nagesh Bhonsle, Gulshan Walia, Sushil Parwana, Sunita Bhadauria, Rudolfo Rajeev Hubert, Jugal Kishore, and Pankaj Gupta are among the actors who accompany her.

Anuja is the story of a talented nine-year-old girl who, like her sister, must decide between schooling and factory employment. This choice will have a significant impact on both of their destinies. Ananya Shanbhag and Sajda Pathan are the main actors. The film's executive producer is Guneet, while producer Mindy Kaling is involved. Priyanka Chopra Jonas joined the team recently as an executive producer as well.
