As the day of the Ram Mandir consecration in Ayodhya on January 22 approaches, celebrities across the country are preparing to attend the historic event. Several celebrities including Dhanush, Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and others, have received invitations to the ceremony. Some, including Vivek Oberoi, Anupam Kher, Dhanush, among others have begun departing from Mumbai to attend the grand ceremony.

Rajinikanth and Dhanush were seen leaving for Ayodhya, with the former dressed in a green t-shirt and warmly interacting with fans and reporters. He greeted everyone with folded hands and smiles. Dhanush, in a blue tracksuit, swiftly made his way through the crowd with minimal interaction. Both actors were accompanied by security to manage the enthusiastic crowd. Vivek Oberoi, in a white sweatshirt, left for Ayodhya.

Vivek took the time to interact with and click selfies with fans before heading in. When a reporter called out 'Jai Shri Ram,' the actor acknowledged with a respectful hand gesture before proceeding. Expressing his excitement, Anupam Kher mentioned, "It is a very good feeling. We all have waited for this day for a very long time. Jai Shree Ram."

The ceremonial journey leading up to the Pran Pratishtha began on January 16, 2024. On January 19, the idol of Shri Ram Lalla, crafted by the renowned Mysuru sculptor Arun Yogiraj, was placed inside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. The first photo of the idol, covered with a veil, was revealed during the placement ceremony. The grand event is expected to draw dignitaries and people from various walks of life. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the 'Pran Pratishtha' of the Ram Lalla idol at the grand temple on January 22. Laxmikant Dixit, a priest from Varanasi, will lead the team of priests performing the main rituals.

Celebrities, including Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Tiger Shroff, and others, have received invites for the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir. Various VIPs, including politicians, sportspersons, and members of the film industry, are expected to attend.
