The show received a lot of love from the audience for its beautiful story and impressive performance by the star cast. Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon, who are the lead cast of the Kdrama, impressed fans with their on-screen chemistry and fans adore their off-screen bond as well. The two got involved in dating rumours but Kim Hye Yoon gave clarification on her relationship with her co-star.

In a recent interview, Kim Hye Yoon admitted that many people asked her to marry or date Byeon Woo Seok due to their good on-screen chemistry. She said, "I know how they feel when they make such forward suggestions, but to me, he is simply an oppa that is getting further."

Earlier, Byeon Woo-Seok talked about his amazing chemistry with Kim Hye-Yoon in 'Lovely Runner' and told OSEN, "My chemistry with actress Kim Hye-Yoon was so good that it cannot be expressed in words.. I had a firm faith in actress Kim Hye-Yoon, who had a lot of romantic comedy experience, and thanks to that, I was able to act comfortably."

Further talking about the plot of 'Lovely Runner', he said, "In the 34-year-old present, Seon-Jae becomes Sol’s favourite, and in the 19-year-old past, Sol becomes Seon-Jae’s favourite, and they are entangled in a relationship that saves both sides. This is the point of differentiation."
