The debut of ‘Paatal Lok’ on Amazon Prime Video happened on May 15, 2024. in the year 2020. Following its release, the show garnered widespread acclaim from critics who lauded various aspects such as the performances of the actors, the intricately woven storyline, the quality of writing, and the deft direction employed throughout the series. However, after the success of the first part, on Tuesday, makers announced the second installment of Paatal Lok.

Prime Video took to its official Instagram account and wrote, “Two seemingly disconnected cases get Hathiram and Ansari to work together again, sending them down the track of a nebulous conspiracy.#PaatalLokS2OnPrime #AreYouReady #PrimeVideoPresents.”

Paatal Lok 2 is being produced by Karnesh Sharma under the banner of Clean Slate Filmz. Directed by Avinash Arun Dhaware, the upcoming web series is being created by Sudip Sharma. It has been written by Sudip Sharma, Abhishek Banerjee, Tamal Sen and Rahul Kanojia. Paatal Lok Season 2 stars an ensemble cast including Jaideep Ahlawat, Ishwak Singh, Tillotama Shome, Jahnu Barua, Gul Panag, Nagesh Kukunoor, and Anurag Arora.
