Arshad Warsi has been happily married to Maria Goretti for 25 years and the couple tied the knot on February 14, 1999, coinciding with Valentine's Day. Despite being together for a long time, Arshad and Maria never registered their marriage. The couple officially got married in court on January 23, 2023. In a recent interview, Arshad talked about his decision to register marriage in court after 25 years and revealed the story of him getting married on Valentine's Day.
While speaking to The Times Of India, Arshad said, "We did it for the sake of the law. Otherwise, I feel as partners, if you are committed to each other, then that’s all that matters."
He added, "I hate to share my wedding date with anyone because it sounds so cheesy. Both Maria and I are embarrassed about this! It was never intentional, though. Maria’s parents wanted us to get married soon. We couldn’t during Lent, and then I was getting busy with work. We didn’t waste one year and the one date that looked feasible to us back then was Feb 14, so we went ahead with it. Now I have the scariest memory of Valentine’s Day that I got married."

On the work front, Arshad Warsi was last seen in the web series 'Asur 2', streaming on Jio Cinema.
He will also star in 'Welcome To The Jungle' along with Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Disha Patani and Raveena Tandon. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Arshad Warsi talked about what the audience can expect from 'Welcome 3'. "The scale of Welcome 3: the cost, the climax, is unreal. It is an insanely larger-than-life theatrical film which I will be a part of. It has me, Akshay Kumar, Sanju (Sanjay Dutt), Paresh Rawal and lots of other people,” he said.
He will be next seen in 'Jolly LLB 3' along with Akshay Kumar.
