Jasmin Bhasin is a renowned Indian Television personality who has been suffering from corneal damage. The actress recently shared the news to her fans that due to a lense mishap, she had to go through this difficult phase in lives. This is not the first time a celebrity has gone through these kinds of situations, several international celebrities have been suffering from different eye conditions. Here we brought you the list of celebrities who have chronic eye conditions. 

Mila Kunis 

The actress in an interview with Cosmopolitan revealed, “I was blind in one eye for many years, and nobody knew.” She had a cataract in one which was caused by iritis. The actress even went through surgery that corrected the problem. Kunis also has heterochromia iridum. This condition refers to irises having different colours. Her left eye is brown and her right eye is green. The American actress is known for her work in That '70s Show, Black Swan, Four Good Days and Jupiter Ascending to name a few. 

Bono

The singer was diagnosed with glaucoma but several treatments maintained his eyesight. He has been suffering from it since the 1990s and was spotted at public gatherings without sunglasses.  He has been known for lending his voice to U2 album which include With Or Without You, Beautiful Day, Stay,  Bad, and Atomic City to name a few. 


Kristen Bell

The actress has shared that she is suffering from strabismus (even crossed eyes). She stated several times that her right eye drifts sometimes on films. In an interview with on The Late Late Show, she explained how the camera crew often shouts and tells  “Wonky,” which is a code word so that she can feel that her right eye is beginning to drift. The American actress is known for her work in Veronica Mars, The Good Place, Frozen, Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Bad Moms to name a few. 

Jose Feliciano

A Puerto Rican musician lost his sight as a child due to being unable to treat glaucoma. In an interview with Hawaii Public Radio, Feliciano, has been playing guitar since nine years old, said “being born with vision,” even without his eyesight. “Vision is also what you feel inside and that’s what makes a great visionary,” he added. Jose is known for his songs Feliz Navidad, La Copa Rota, Chico and the Man, In My Life to name a few. 


Dame Judi Dench

The English actress had been diagnosed with dry AMD in one eye and wet AMD in the other eye. The legendary actress uses several tools and apps that she can use made for people with AMD. In an interview with the Sunday Post, she said “I just want to go on being mobile, really, and being able to do things. I’m not going to be beaten by my eyes.”
