A video clip from a 2004 stage performance rehearsal in the United States has resurfaced on social media platforms, captivating audiences with a heartwarming display of friendship between Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta.

In the viral video, what caught viewers’ attention is the conversation between SRK and Zinta. As the latter forgets a step, Shah Rukh asks, “Preity, you are doing drugs again?” To this the Veer Zara actress replies, “I think so.” Watch the video here:

Earlier, according to a report in News 18, Preity talked about the same viral video. She said, “This was us rehearsing for an award show. I remember I had no sleep for 2 days and I felt like a zombie. Shah Rukh Khan helped brighten the day & the rehearsal with his easy charm & timely jokes. The flip when he is holding me was the same step we did in Jiya Jale.”

During an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on X in May, Preity Zinta was questioned with queries from eager fans of Shah Rukh Khan, all eager to know if she would consider sharing the silver screen with the Bollywood superstar in future. She said, “When we get a mind-blowing script together that only he and I can do. Till then gotta wait.”

“SRK is a powerhouse of talent and one of the most generous & fun actors to work with. He always keeps his co-star on their toes & is very entertaining & competitive. I learned a lot from him in Dil Se,” she further explained.
