Khatron Ke Khiladi 14: Asim Riaz found himself at the center of controversy on Rohit Shetty's show after a heated altercation with host Rohit Shetty and other contestants. Following his loss in a challenge, tensions escalated, leading Asim to charge at Rohit with the apparent intention of starting a physical confrontation. The situation grew increasingly intense, prompting Rohit Shetty to take the drastic step of kicking him out of the show due to his unacceptable behaviour. In the wake of his expulsion, Asim took to Instagram to post a message that appeared to address his critics and provide a response to the situation.
Recently, Asim Riaz shared an intriguing Instagram story featuring an image of four dogs in the foreground with a lion seated behind them. The accompanying caption read, "Sometimes trying to prove that you are the best is an insult.”
What happened between Rohit Shetty and Asim
The new season of Khatron Ke Khiladi, hosted by Rohit Shetty, began with great excitement and was filmed in Romania. It featured an engaging cast of contestants tackling daring stunts. However, on the second day, controversy erupted when Asim Riaz and Abhishek Kumar got into a heated argument. The incident, captured on video, allegedly shows Asim displaying disrespect towards both his fellow contestants and Rohit Shetty, as well as the show's production team.
During a task where Asim Riaz, Aashish Mehrotra, and Niyati Fatnani had to collect flags from a seesaw, only the top two performers would avoid elimination. While Aashish and Niyati succeeded, Asim did not. His performance drew criticism from the other contestants, who urged him to take responsibility for his failure. Asim contested that the challenge was unfeasible and even challenged the Khatron Ke Khiladi team to demonstrate it to him directly. He declared that he would refuse any payment from the show.

In response to Asim Riaz’s complaints, Rohit Shetty shared a rehearsal video demonstrating that the task had been successfully completed during testing. This footage clarified that there were no issues with the challenge.
After viewing the video, Asim admitted there was no problem. However, Rohit Shetty reprimanded him. In a separate incident, as Asim left the shoot in frustration, Rohit called out, "What are you doing?" Shortly after a massive showdown between host and Asim, the latter was asked to leave the show. Rohit Shetty commented, "I wish him all the best, but he can’t continue on the show. He has his own perspective, which I respect. I hope he finds success in his future endeavors, as he is a young individual with potential."
