Atlee, who is all set to come up with the action thriller Baby John starring Varun Dhawan and featuring a cameo of Salman Khan, spilled the beans about the highly anticipated collaboration with the superstar in his next tentatively titled film A6. Jawan's director confirmed that a bang-on announcement will happen soon.

Atlee graced the Pinkvilla's masterclass with producer Murad Khetani and actor Varun Dhawan. During a conversation, the filmmaker shared an update on A6. He said, "A6 is something that consumes a lot of time and energy. We have almost finished the script, and we are in the prep stage. Soon, a bang-on announcement will happen with God’s blessing."

On bringing Salman Khan on board for A6, Atlee added, "Definitely, I am going to surprise everyone with the casting. What you are thinking, yes (that’s true). But you are going to really be surprised. And I’m not being pompous, but it’s going to be the proudest film of our country. We want a lot of blessings, just pray for us. The casting is on the edge, and it’s going to happen in a few weeks. We will have the best, best, best announcement coming soon to you all."

As per reports, Atlee aims to bring some big names including Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan on board to make this film one of Indian cinema’s never seen before spectacle.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Sikandar, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna. Helmed by AR Murugadoss, the movie is slated for Eid 2025 release.
