The OTT giant Zee5 made an exciting OTT release announcement of Kannada's first original web series, Ayyana Mane by sharing the film's poster on X. The post read, "Will Pushpavati lead to the discovery of a series of deaths? Watch Kannada’s first original web series, Ayyana Mane, this April 25th on your ZEE5.”<

The film follows the story of Jaaji, who marries into Ayyana Mane family and moves into her husband’s ancestral mansion, which has dark secrets for her to uncover. In the misty mountain mansion, three daughters-in-law have died mysteriously and untimely deaths have led to severe circumstances, as no woman has survived in the house for long. As Jaaji unravels the dark secrets, possible curses, horrific truth and threat of supernatural things that she needs to fight for her survival. The movie unfolds with themes of suspense, mystery and survival.

Kushee Ravi opens up about her role in Zee5 Kannada web series Ayyana Mane

Kushee, who plays the role of Jaaji in the series, in a conversation with ETimes said, “I’m honestly feeling overwhelmed. It’s the first Kannada web series and I’m part of it! I feel like all the experiments are made on me. Even Dia was an experimental film where the heroine didn’t have a conventional, glamorous look. The director wanted us to take that risk, and it worked. I’m hoping Ayyana Mane clicks the same way Dia did in my career.”

Describing her character in the movie, she stated, Jaaji as “naive and innocent.”

Set in the 1990s, besides Kushee Ravi, Ayyana Mane stars Akshay Nayak, Manasi Sudhir, Vijay Shobraj, and Ramesh Indira in pivotal roles. The series has been directed by Ramesh Indira and produced by Shruti Naidu.
