The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has sent a formal letter to singer and rapper Badshah, asking him to clarify whether Pakistani funds are being used to sponsor his upcoming concert in Dallas, USA. The event, part of his Badshah Un-Finished Tour, is scheduled for 19 September 2025 at the Curtis Culwell Centre. According to the letter, concerns have been raised that the concert is “reportedly being sponsored by 3Sixty Shows, a company owned and operated by Pakistani nationals.” The film body’s move comes amid heightened national security concerns and strict industry guidelines discouraging cross-border collaborations.
The letter addressed to Badshah reads, "Dear Badshah, it has come to our notice that you are scheduled to perform in the 'Badshah Un-Finished Tour' at the Curtis Culwell Centre in Dallas, USA on September 19, 2025, which is reportedly being sponsored by 3Sixty Shows, a company owned and operated by Pakistani nationals." The letter goes on to state, "As you are aware that the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), in line with the instructions issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, has clearly instructed all artists and technicians of the Indian entertainment industry to avoid engaging in any professional collaboration or performance with Pakistani nationals or organisations associated with Pakistan. These instructions have been implemented because of the ongoing terrorism and hostile activities against India from across the border."

On the other hand, the FWICE also cited the 22 April 2025 Pahalgam terror attack as a recent and tragic example of ongoing threats. The letter said, "A recent and tragic example is the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April. This incident is a painful reminder of the continued violence and the importance of our solidarity against such perpetrators and their supporters. Given this, we request that you for an immediate clarification regarding your association with this event and the organisers.” The letter concluded with, "We trust that as a respected Indian artist, you will follow the sentiments of the nation and the instructions issued by FWICE and the Government of India. We would appreciate your prompt reply, so that we can take the necessary steps as per our rules."
Meanwhile, this is not the first time FWICE has issued such a warning. Recently, the body also cautioned actor Kartik Aaryan against participating in an Independence Day event in Houston, USA, organised by a Pakistani restaurant. Kartik’s team responded, "Kartik Aaryan is not associated with this event in any capacity. He has never made an official announcement about participating in this event. We have contacted the organisers and requested to remove all promotional materials featuring his name and image."

Tensions Between India And Pakistan
Tensions between the two countries escalated after the Pahalgam attack in which 22 civilians were killed. In response, the Indian Army and Air Force carried out precision strikes at nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) under Operation Sindoor.
