Following backlash from fans, rapper Badshah has now responded to the controversy surrounding his song 'Issa Vibe,' clarifying the usage of the words 'BTS bibba.' BTS, the renowned K-pop group consisting of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, has a massive global fan base. Badshah explained that the Punjabi term 'bibba,' featured in his song "Bloody Daddy," translates to 'woman.'

On Friday, rapper Badshah addressed the issue through his Instagram Stories. He posted, "Playlist mein BAD BUNNY BTS 'BIEBER' (ear with hearing aid emoji)." The mention of Bieber refers to the singer Justin Bieber.

Fans expressed their gratitude on social media platforms, thanking Badshah for providing clarification. One individual wrote, "It sounded like bibba. Thanks for the statement." Another fan commented, "Thank you for clarifying and clearing the doubts."

A few weeks back, Badshah released his song ‘Issa Vibe’ which contained the lyrics, ‘Playlist pe Bad Bunny BTS Bibba, Har Raat Beer Peeni Hai Tujhe Kiba.’ The inclusion of the word 'bibba' alongside BTS, which refers to a woman, sparked anger among many fans of the group.

Twitter was abuzz with reactions from fans regarding Badshah's song. One comment expressed outrage, stating, "Badshah...how dare you..? Insulting #BTS with your cheap lyrics in the bloody daddy song. I know you are jealous that you can never be like them.. never ever..but at least have some respect for them. We ARMY demand either edit the lyrics or remove the song." A second tweet added that Badshah was trying to spread hate, while a third remarked, "Badshah included BTS in his lyrics! Man knows where clout and hype comes from."

For the unversed, in May, Badshah had found himself in hot water after receiving criticism for the lyrics of his song 'Sanak.' A senior priest from the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, expressed strong disapproval of Badshah's use of Lord Shiva's (Bholenath) name in conjunction with offensive language in the song.

The priest, named Mahesh, demanded that Badshah remove the divine name from the song and issue an apology. He even stated his intention to file a police complaint (FIR) against the rapper.

Badshah took to social media and wrote: "It has been brought to my attention that one of my recent releases, Sanak, sadly seems to have hurt the sentiments of some people. I would never willingly or unknowingly cause offence to anyone's sentiments. I bring my artistic creations and musical compositions to you, my fans, with the utmost sincerity and passion.

"In light of this recent development, I have taken proactive measures to change some parts of the song and actioned the replacement with this new version on all digital platforms to further avoid hurting anyone. The replacement process takes a few days before the changes will reflect on all platforms, I request everyone to be patient during this period. I humbly offer my sincerest apologies to those whom I may have unknowingly hurt. My fans remain my bedrock, and I shall always hold them in the highest esteem and with boundless affection."
