Bazooka, starring Mammootty, is one of the most highly anticipated Malayalam action thriller movies of this year. Written and directed by debutant Deeno Dennis, the film is nearing its theatrical release. Recently, the makers dropped the thrilling trailer, introducing the characters of Mammootty and Gautham Vasudev Menon. Let’s dive in to learn everything about this upcoming Malayalam film.

The two minutes thirty seconds video opens by introducing Gautham Menon’s character, Benjamin Joshua, an ACP of Cochin City. A voice in the background describes his character and the strong team he leads. The focus then shifts to Mammootty’s character, referred to as Mr. Nobody. During his introduction, the trailer says, “He is a nobody, but definitely a somebody. Classy. Sleek.” The trailer highlights the dynamics between Gautham and Mammootty's characters. Benjamin Joshua can be heard saying, “Barking dogs seldom bite,” to which Mammootty replies in his signature style, “Try irking a barking dog, and your belly will turn to jelly from all the vaccine shots.” We then see Mammootty in full action mode, beating goons and setting the tone for the movie.

About Bazooka – Plot and Cast

Bazooka is an action-packed thriller revolving around a cop and a businessman who team up on a mission to catch a serial killer. They use a series of elaborate games to track him down in a high-stakes game of good vs. evil, with salvation as the ultimate goal. The gripping tale has already captivated the audience with the trailer’s release.

The film features a stellar cast, including Mammootty and Gautham Vasudev Menon in lead roles, along with Babu Antony, Neeta Pillai, Gayathiri Iyer, Divya Pillai, Anoop Menon, Sharaf U Dheen, Jagadish, Sidharth Bharathan, Iswarya Menon, Shine Tom Chacko, Spadikam George, and Shammi Thilakan. The film is slated to hit cinemas on April 10. Deeno Dennis's directorial is backed by Yoodlee Films.
