Bazooka Twitter Review: Bazooka is finally running in theatres now. Starring Mammootty in the lead role, the Indian Malayalam-language action thriller film has been written and directed by Deeno Dennis in his directorial debut. The story of Bazooka revolves around a cop and a businessman who team up on a mission to capture a serial killer, using a series of elaborate games to track him down. As the movie hit the theatres today, here is how netizens are reacting to it:

About Bazooka: The 2025 Indian Malayalam-language action thriller film Bazooka marks the directorial debut of Deeno Dennis, who also wrote the screenplay. The project has a fascinating development history, dating back to March 2018 when Dennis was first reported to be making his directorial debut with a film he had been working on for nearly three years. Initially, Dennis had approached Mammootty with the script, and the actor encouraged him to take on the directorial role himself. 

However, it wasn't until July 2022 and the involvement of producers Dolwin Kuriakose and Jinu V. Abraham, through their banner Theatre of Dreams, that the project began to take shape. Although Abraham later clarified that the film wasn't the original 2018 concept, the project gained momentum in April 2023 with the official announcement of Bazooka as the title. 

With Mammootty and Gautham Vasudev Menon in lead roles, principal photography commenced in mid-May 2023 in Kochi and wrapped up in October 202 and the film was theatrically released on April 10, 2025. The film boasts an impressive technical team, including music by Saeed Abbas, cinematography by Nimish Ravi and editing by Nishadh Yusuf and Praveen Prabhakar.
