Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain actor Aasif Sheikh recently worried his fans after collapsing while shooting on set. The actor was shooting in Dehradun when he fell ill. He is still recovering and recently revealed that he cannot put his foot on the floor and is still limping after the incident.
Concerns about Aasif Sheikh's health surfaced after reports emerged suggesting that he had been hospitalized while shooting in Dehradun. In a conversation with The Times of India, he shared what happened that day and provided an update on his recovery. He said, "It was the second-last day of the shoot. I took heavy painkillers and shot the last few scenes. Since I couldn't stand or walk, I came back to Mumbai in a wheelchair. I am on painkillers and steroids, and now I am scheduled for an MRI today. I have been on bed rest ever since I returned to Mumbai. I am slowly recovering. I am unable to put my foot on the floor and am still limping."
With the Dehradun leg of the shoot wrapped, the production team has returned to Mumbai.

In the same interview, he also opened up about the setback he faced after hearing about the sudden demise of his friend and the show's writer, Manoj Santoshi. Manoj passed away after battling liver cancer on Monday. The writer breathed his last in Aligarh, surrounded by his family. Aasif said, "I lost a very good friend. My relationship with Manoj Santoshi goes several years back. He was a great talent, a great writer. He has left a big void in my life."
