TV personalities Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa recently hosted Manoj Bajpayee and Prachi Desai on their podcast to discuss their film "Silence... Can You Hear It?" where they discussed the challenges of working long hours on television sets. Amidst the conversation, Bharti and Harsh reflected on their own experiences of enduring long hours on television sets. She also shared that female actors sometimes have to shoot scenes while receiving intravenous drips.

During the episode, Haarsh also disclosed that actors often operated on minimal sleep, enduring shifts lasting over 15 hours. He mentioned witnessing directors and creatives experiencing heart attacks and health issues due to sleep deprivation. Despite suffering from conditions like acidity caused by factors such as excessive tea consumption and irregular eating habits, they prioritized their work over their well-being. Bharti added that she had seen female actors working on daily soap operas while receiving intravenous drips, as they were not permitted to leave until the scene was filmed. Haarsh further revealed that the director was solely focused on capturing the perfect shot, disregarding the actors' physical and mental well-being.

"I’ve even seen girls working with drips on daily soaps. They were not allowed to go home as the shot was not telecast by then.” Harsh then also revealed how director one cared about their perfect shot on camera and did not care about the actors going through ‘life and death situation," she stated. Also, Prachi mentioned that she relied heavily on coffee to endure the lengthy workdays.
